3 Classic Exterior Paint Colour Combinations

There are many factors you need to consider when selecting exterior paint colours but here are three classic exterior paint colour combinations for commonly used brick. Colours can be easily washed out in the sun so it is a great idea to test your colours outside at different times throughout the day, you can buy samples at Hello Paint and Samplize which ship right to your door.

Red Brick

This classic combination pairs well with red brick. Benjamin Moore HC-175 Briarwood is a classic taupe that would work well on your garage or porch, paired with OC-65 Chantilly Lace on your trim and I love a black front door painted in 2133-10 Onyx, which is my go to black paint colour.

Beige/Yellow Brick

Beige and yellow-toned brick does work well with softer colour combinations. Here I paired Benjamin Moore Graystone 1475 which you could use on your garage door or porch with HC-84 Elmira White on your trim and Night Train 1567 on your front door.

Brown Brick

For a brown brick house, I would try Benjamin Moore CC-546 Metropolis on your porch and garage door, OC-23 Classic Gray on your trim, and 1624 Westcott Navy on your door.

Let me know if you would use any of these combinations or reach out if you have any questions!!
