Revised Option With The Large Window Closed In
Option A- This option has the whole area tiled in the stove corner including on the wall stack.
Option B - This option has the backsplash running the height of the window sill and has a stone shelf running along the stove wall, this could all be done in your counter material for a clean look.

Revised Design
Keeping the back door and moving the fridge by the wall stack, isn’t working well. We would lose half of the window width since we have to keep a certain distance in front of the stove for it to open easily. If you wanted to place the fridge here, we should close this window completely. If you don’t love this idea, not to worry I have found another solution, see below.
Option B
We could move the fridge by the sink, it does make that corner tight but it works without having to make any changes that would require dealing with the city and permits. Let me know what your thoughts are on this, I have added a feedback form below.
Options for the window wall
If we have the fridge like shown above, we could do either a freestanding furniture piece or narrow cabinet with floating shelves above if we shorten that window.

Here are three kitchen layout options. Each shows a different style to help you visualize your choices. For now, focus on finding the floor plan that suits you best.
Option A
This option maintains your current layout but replaces the large window with a smaller one and makes the window above the sink a little larger. In the kitchen, you will have slim pantries and shallow upper and lower cabinets on one side, providing ample storage while leaving a small countertop for workspace. Straight ahead, the sink will remain under the window, with the dishwasher to the left. The large window will be smaller to fit the stove between the two windows. This design creates an efficient work triangle with plenty of counter space around the appliances.

Option B
This option shifts the basement entrance to near the two windows, creating a galley-style kitchen. I can add a door there if wanted. Upon entering the kitchen, narrow pantries would be on one side, with the fridge and stove on the other. However, this layout has an inefficient work triangle and doesn't allow for cabinets on the back wall.

Option C
This option maintains your layout while closing in the back door. It places the fridge against the back wall and the stove on the stairway wall, keeping the windows the same size. There is also space in this floor plan for a small island, which could be on wheels for easy movement when you need more room.
