Revised Kitchen Plans- Keeping existing peninsula
Option A
This option has your counter depth fridge in wood cabinetry going on the back wall with a wood shelf for your small appliances. The cabinets continue around to the door with wood base cabinets. Black granite counter to match your peninsula and a plaster hood. I have added wood back panels to your existing peninsula cabinets to bring the wood tone to this side of the kitchen.
Option B
Has your fridge again going on the back wall with white cabinetry and the fridge in black (I also thought we could consider the green option) with the wood shelf running under the uppers. The base cabinet on the stove and corner wall are painted black to give a mix of finishes for an eclectic look. I also added a custom plate rack to go above your peninsula that would carry the wood tone to that side of the kitchen.

Initial Designs
Option A
This option adds new cabinetry on the wall across from your stove keeping your other cabinets as-is. The cabinets would go to the ceiling on this wall with a center cabinet that will have glass doors and go to the counter to store your toaster and coffee maker. A pullout garbage cabinet will be on one side of the base cabinets and your built-in microwave would be on the other with deep drawers in the center. We could also add backsplash tiles and accessories to finish off your space.
(Sorry I could not get a built-in microwave to stay in the 3D to show how it would look in the cabinet)

Option B
In this option, we would be replacing both walls and keeping the peninsula with the sink in it. I have moved the fridge over to the opposite wall which allows me to center the stove and you gain a lot of cabinetry and storage space. I added pullouts on either side of your stove for spice and oil storage.

Option C
This option is the most work-intensive as well as the most expensive. In this option your stairwell would be closed up so we can utilize that wall space. The stairwell opening on your upper floor could be made into a large closet so that all of that space isn’t wasted. But by closing that off we are able to gain a good amount of cabinet space.
