Final Design

Until you are ready to have built-ins made and the fireplace is done in stone, I would swap out your sconces and add art on the wall. This will give a nice focal point to that area and the art can easily be moved to another room when the custom cabinets are made.

I would keep the four swivel chairs around the size noted on the floor plan and keep them all the same size.

Initial Designs

Option A

This option has a sectional with two chairs in front of your fireplace. Your fireplace would be covered in stone and flanked with custom cabinets. Soft tones in cream, grey with hints of blue give this a classic inviting feel.

Floor Plan

Option B

This option has an L-shaped sectional paired with a large-scale leather chair. Your fireplace would be clad in shiplap, with a chunky wood mantel and custom base cabinets with wood shelves above. Soft neutral tones with dark accents keep everything light and bright.
