Design Instructions
+Paint the back wall the deep blue colour-Benjamin Moore’s North Sea is shown on the above-board
+Paint the rest of the walls the off white - Benjamin Moore’s Cloud Cover is shown on the above-board
+Add pillows in shades of cream and blue to continue the colour around the room- I have added some for you to consider but you can always find some you love locally from Home Sense as well
+Add prints to the shelves you can keep your family prints which I think are lovely just add in a couple of artwork prints to mix it up. I have added some digital download options, I would find frames you love then have the prints printed to the frame size.
+Add in white pottery it will really stand out against the dark blue accent wall, all of your plants will look nice against the blue
+Add in a wooden bowl for texture
+Have the shelves fill the whole alcove space like the photos on the left
+Paint out the shelves and the cabinets below if possible the same blue as the walls.
+I would leave the top alcoves empty and since they will be painted out dark blue they will be less noticeable
+Your fireplace mantel could be freshened up in white the same colour as the trim throughout your house or you could also have this painted blue for a dramatic look
+I would have the painters use an eggshell paint finish on the walls and a pearl or semi-gloss on the trim, fireplace and shelves.
