If you go with a stain, I would look at ebony options from your cabinet company. Each company normally has certain stain colours they carry, I would check with them to see what they offer. Also, check with them to see if they can order your kitchen hardware from Richelieu for you, most other options that I found are going to run you 20 or more per handle. I wasn’t sure if you had selected your pendant lights yet so I thought I would add a couple of options for you. You could go for the same white on the cabinets which is Chantilly Lace or if you would like a contrast from the cabinets I have added some cream options below. Living Room Layout Options

Option A

This option has your sofa going against your back wall with two chairs across. This creates a nice conversation area and will create a nice focal point from your front door.

Option B

This option has a console table going on your back wall where you can mount a television above. Placing a sofa table behind the sofa will create an area to add a couple of decorative objects and keep you from staring at the back of the sofa when you enter the room.

Option C

This option has a u-shaped sectional in the middle of the room and a television mounted above the fireplace. The nice thing about this is you could watch tv when working at the island. You could consider a frame tv which looks like art when not in use.
