Window Treatments

Click on the picture below to see this roller blind option but I would recommend you have a local blind company do your blinds for you. I have left around $1000 in the budget for blinds, that way you could have a local company measure and install custom roller blinds for you that would give you light and heat control and fit your large windows perfectly.

Initial Concept Designs

I have two initial concepts for you to look at below, let me know if you prefer one design or if you want certain elements from either board to create a final design. There is space below each concept to give feedback, once you hit submit your responses will be emailed to me.

Option A

I have pulled vibrate blue pillows and ottomans as an accent to add dimension to your beautiful dark walls for this option. The blue compliments your brown sofa and desk. I love the idea of having your cub’s jersey framed in plexiglass and that could be a focal point above your sofa. Then we would create a gallery wall above your desk with the other framed sports memorabilia you have. I also found these cubed shelves that we could add glass terrariums that would hold your signed baseballs. I think the best window treatment for your large window would be modern roller shades that can be easily kept down for privacy and heat control and raised up when you want to let the light in or open the windows.

Option B

For this option, I kept everything mostly neutral with blacks and whites but added a lux green velvet office chair. If you liked the idea of keeping everything more neutral we could swap out that chair for the one I used above. On this option, I used a small-scale coffee table that could still easily be moved out of the way for when you have guests. I still kept the jersey mounted in plexiglass above your sofa and for your other prints, I have added these brass wall ledges that we could lean your art and baseballs on and mount them above your desk.
