Chicago Office Design

I recently completed a home office design for an urban condo. Since everyone is working from home these days I have been getting a lot of requests for home office designs. It is a small space and used as a home office, watching tv in the evenings and as a guest room on occasion. The clients had already had a custom desk made for their space and purchased a leather pullout sofa and the television was already mounted. Those were the only items they had, also a few other items to note, the room gets really hot from the sun and the husband has an extensive sports memorabilia collection that they wanted to display in the office. Every project starts with filling out an extensive questionnaire where the client can upload all the info needed to start the design. I need to know how you want your space to feel, inspirational photos so I can get a sense of your style, measurements of your room and any items you are keeping. Then I take all of this info and get to work coming up with some initial design concepts.

My clients really liked elements from both options, which I incorporated in the final design. They also wanted it to feel a little less formal. I think the formal feel was coming from the ottomans in the first concept and the pillows.

I make it really easy to purchase all the items I have recommended. I create a private page on my website for each design and the client can easily access their info at any time. On the private page all designs, floor plans and details are there. The client can select which items to purchase by clicking on the picture and it links to the product website and all product ordering details are listed below.
